Altar Guild
Members share in the responsibility of Parament changes, and following Sunday services they deliver altar and narthex flowers with a church bulletin to members of the congregation who are hospitalized. The Church uses five colors to distinguish the seasons of the Church year. The members learn the significance of each by working with the Paraments.

Baptismal Host
The volunteers are given a sheet of guidelines which they share with the families during a phone call prior to the baptism. The volunteer may or may not host the family during the service, depending upon which pastor is baptizing that particular service. The volunteer may help at the service they usually attend. If interested, please contact Jan in the church office at 223-3560.

Greeters
Two Trinity members during the year secure members to act as greeters and hosts at the doors before services and sometimes at fellowship between services on Sundays. Visitors and new members are given special concern so they feel welcome while attending our church.

Meals on Wheels
Drivers are asked to drive one day each week of a given month (usually October). This is a very rewarding program. Meals are picked up at Medcenter One at the 6th Street Cancer entrance at 11:45 a.m., the month of October. The route is completed in less than an hour. The Coordinator needs 30-35 drivers. A rider is helpful but not necessary. Jerry Delzer arranges routes and participants. Some volunteers wish to drive every day of a week. Others prefer one day each week. Substitutes are helpful.

Parish Nurse
The Parish Nurse ministers to the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of the congregation. This is accomplished through health education, health screenings, making appropriate referrals to hospitals and local agencies, serving as a personal health counselor and visiting people who are homebound, hospitalized or in a nursing home. To learn more about parish nursing and things being offered in the area, visit the Medcenter One Parish Nursing website.

Quilters
Quilters meet every Tuesday. Some of the steps in making the quilts are sewing, ripping, cutting and pinning material, and pressing. The quilts are mainly hand tied. These quilts are donated to Lutheran World Relief and local charities. Special quilts are made and given as baptismal blankets. Each person brings a dish to share for noon lunch. If you can help for a few hours or for the day, we welcome you. To learn more about quilts donated to Lutheran World Relief, check out the Women of ELCA website
